Abstract:With the increasing number of pet households, there is a growing focus on the health of pets. The gut microbiota plays a pivotal role in animal health, impacting not only the metabolism and absorption of nutrients but also regulating overall well-being. Currently, it has been scientifically proven that offer numerous beneficial functions in the growth and development of pet dogs and cats,including promoting their growth and development, enhancing nutritional metabolism and immune function, as well as safeguarding them against pathogenic microbial infections. This discussion explores the application of pet probiotics, characteristics of pet intestinal microbiota, and mechanisms behind probiotic functionality to provide a theoretical foundation for utilizing probiotics in preventing and treating pet diseases.
