Abstract：With the adjustment of agricultural cropping structure and climate change, the occurrence and damage of pests presents a new trend. Mastering the occurrence characteristics and influencing factors of soybean pests is the basis for scientific prevention and control of soybean pests.Based on the literature, this paper briefly reviewed the research process of soybean pest occurrence in China. On this basis, it summarised the occurrence and damage characteristics of soybean pests in China in recent years, including the species and regionalisation characteristics of pests in the three major cultivation areas at present, and analysed the occurrence and damage dynamics of soybean pests and their influencing factors from the aspects of global climate change and cropping system.The future research work is prospected, which provides reference for the further study on soybean pests.
