Review on Triterpenoid Saponins and Pharmacological Activity |of Platycodon grandiflorum��

The objective of this study is to summarize the studies on triterpenoid saponins of ��Platycodon grandiflorum�� and provide new reference for further research and exploitation. The structures of triterpenoid saponins and pharmacological activities of ��Platycodon grandiflorum�� were com prehensively reviewed according to phylogeny of ��Platycodon grandiflorum.�� The study shows that as an edible and medicinal herb, ��P. grandiforum����is of bright developing prospect and  worthy of being further investigat ed.��
